Chances are if your getting this blog you may or not know me, Ernie Mixon.
This is my personal blog page on Obama started to discuss the first African American man that has a real chance at being elected to be the President of the United States of America. These are truly historical times where the stakes are very high. When he is elected he will be one of the most powerful men in the world.
The time is growing short for this to happen. November will be here in no time. McCain-Palin is a very strong ticket and all the gloves are off. They will fight with everything they have to keep the Presidency in Republican hands.
Let’s keep abreast of the lastest developments and share them with each other. Make sure we know the facts and pass them on to our neighbors, friends, and relatives. I am a strong believer that one man/woman can make a difference. So with that said, Let’s start our dialog and keep it going until the day of election.
America needs drastic change now Let’s make it happen

Hi Everyone.
This is my new blog site to discuss the events surrounding Obama for President. I am excited about the prospect of this African American man being our President in 2009.
As we move closer to election day in November, it will get real nasty and all the gloves will come off as the Republicans fight for their right to keep the Presidency.
I urge all interested parties to keep your eyes on our prize towards helping Obama win this race to the white house. Let’s all stay on top of the lastest developments regarding this race and inform our neighbors, friends, and relatives facts surrounding our candidates quest and keep a close eye on McCain-Palin.
I welcome your comments and observations regarding Obama Watch.
Let’s keep a lively debate and information blog going. This should prove to be very helpful to us as a small group of interested Obama supporters.

“This is not any election we have seen or experienced in our lifetime,” said Donna Brazile, a longtime political operative who managed former vice president Al Gore’s 2000 presidential campaign and now chairs the Democratic National Committee’s Voting Rights Institute. She was addressing a meeting of the Congressional Black Caucus as part of a seminar on voter turnout. “I was a child who grew up in the Deep South in poverty … Our parents would tell us that when we grew up, we could be anything and anyone we wanted to be as long as we worked hard, respected elders, got an education. When they walked out that door, we giggled. We knew that our parents were lying to us, because we knew doors were closed for women and minorities in this country. But after this … historic election season, those doors will never, ever be closed again.”

This is not the person who should be VP or God forbid, president. As a life long republican, I feel enough is enough and truly Palin is not even worthy of any more time. She was elected with a majority of approximately 15,000 votes.
Wake up America, this is not a video game and this is a potential disaster. McCain is in his 70s and has serious cancer. There is a very good probability that this individual will be president if elected. What are you all thinking? She has a second rate education, was a mayor of a fly speck of a village, and has not even served a full term as governor.
For the sake of future generations and the soundness of the republic do not elect this candidate.
